Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe there is a scanner available that can track I-Call on a 9600 system.

What is the big diffrence? I don't see that there would be any between 9600 and 3600? :?

Only the small matter of writing the software.

I guess some here would think that the 3600 BPS control channel and the 9600 BPS control channel only differ in data rate.

The fact is they are very different protocols, 3600 developed by Motorola in the evolutionary path of Privacy Plus/Smartnet/Smart Zone syetms.

9600 (assuming you are speaking of P25) was developed by a standards working group under the TIA.

Of course EDACS also has a 9600 BPS control channel of a whole different evolution.
