low band ant. for 396T

what would be a good Ant. for low band eg. 33.980 mhz?

I would look for a used commercial low band antenna or someting like this,look at the antenna at the bottom of the page.

You could also get a 102-108 inch CB whip antenna and trim it down to match the 33Mhz range and it will perform quite well for you.

I just looked and RS carries the antenna.
