Anyone have any suggestions? Looking for a low band (33-46mhz) neck of the woods for a low band base station. I will most likely not be transmitting but I'm looking for a good base antenna to match up with the low band radio. Any suggestions are appreciated.

And how much do you want to spend? I did a check last week following up on another post low band stuff is getting real expensive, it is a supply and demand thing. Do a search for a low band antenna and see if you can find a dyi project, or take a 6 meter ground plane and scale it as needed.

Cushcraft CRS-3 rugged ringo.

Decent antenna for < $100

I run one of these for listening to CA Highway Patrol around 42mhz.
