Though, I am close enough to monitor these frequencies. I do have a problem with "heavy" electrical noise and hash (from close by industry) especially on low band freq s.

Therefore, has any one monitored any activity on the following low band frequencies?

For Bloomfield, NJ 37.220 KEB361 & 33.080 KDY297
At one time these were used for the Bloomfield Volunteer Emergency Squad (BVES) and for 45.520 KAY734 Bloomfield DPW?

For Glenridge, NJ 45.1800 KEC835 Was their FD freq but I believe Montclair now covers Glenridge for fire and 46.540 KBH348 for their DPW.

Thanks:roll:!

45.52 uses a pl of 82.5 which Bloomfield Police calls for the Bloomfield DPW at times.

46.54 uses no pl and is use d by Glenn Ridge Ambulance.

Bloomfield First Aid Squad uses the UHF Police freq and is a part paid department.

They are IDed on the radio as EMS 1, 2 or 3
