Mainetrunk highlighted on the little used VHF Low-Band in the last thread. Conventional wisdom has said it's pretty much an abandoned band. But is it? Might be a good time to start doing some 30-50mhz searching to see what might still be out there. There is some business still on it. And with some warm nights, there might be some skip. A couple still running Low Band include:
37.58 - Unitil (old Concord Electric and Exeter & Hampton Electric)
47.52 - Coleman construction.

Yes sir, I agree about Coleman, and unitil..
As you may know, every year more and more towers are built, and more repeaters.. More patches, and more dispatches.. Granted, I don't monitor radio times in New Hampshire, but I know testing when I hear it..
So, with that being said, I honestly believe it's a new tie..
Explanation -- in all honesty, with diseases going crazy now, and a few folk are going stir crazy, I think it's their way of keeping tabs on the scene..
Just my opinion...
