We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. I get a low battery tone and then "shut-down" when the battery source is still providing a 4.3 volt supply ( under load). Does anyone have a schematic for a TrunkTracker II 245XLT so I can find out what triggers this Beeper and shut-down. I think it could be either an adjustment or a bad resistor. Any help will be deeply appreciated

Since the 4 batts are supposed to be 4.8 volts why do you think 4.3 shouldn't trigger the alarm if shutdown is imminent? Sounds like it is wad (working as designed). I usually get < 10 min out of mine at a low volume once the beep tone starts. I've never been impressed with the runtime even on the 2300 mah batteries I have in it now.
