These aren't bad as an all in one antenna. Sharkee Now . com -Information on the latest GPS combination antenna from Panorama Antennas

Yeah, those are nice, but a bit expensive. We just got two Ford Police Interceptor SUV's with those on them. They look pretty stock and seem to work quite well. On the unmarked vehicles you can't really tell they are not factory. Only thing that gives them away is the awful looking wheels they put on them.

I'm using the same Comet antenna- picked it up from HRO last month and just started using it yesterday but I'm hitting some pretty distant repeaters using a mag mount on the roof of my Accord. Would definitely reccomend based on what I've experienced so far.

I can offer the same positive recommendation. I have a through roof NMO mount on a RAV4 and it works great with this antenna. I do think having a good ground plane has a lot to do with it though. Not sure how good it would work in another location or on a mag mount.

This passes the parking garage tests 100%.

Here in Boise works better than the 1/4 wave VHF whip I was using

Mine is the UHF model

Just a quick question for you. Are you using the uhf low profile antenna for transmitting on 2m and if so, how is the performance. Also, could you provide me with the model number of the antenna

Thanks,

Can you tell me the performance on this antenna?

Do you know if they come with complete setup or just the antenna itself?

Thanks.

Well, I ordered on to just test it. It came with the antenna only. But, performance was not that good. Tested with a local repeater and the response I got was that I was very scratchy and unreadable, but I was able to key the repeater with no issues.

Will be doing some further testing, but so far I'm not impressed. I switched back to my 1/4 wave and am not regretting it. I wanted low profile and the quarter wave (all black) almost totally invisible.

Also, the shipping time was not that bad in getting it, had wished it had worked better but overall satisfied using my quarter wave.
