low volume Albany Police

Anyone notice Low volume on police Dispatch? on Albany Police Dispatch only.

I noticed the last few days that the volume was low, I had to turn the volume offset up to 2+. hopefully it will go back to the normal volume soon. but at least we can still receive the Albany police talkgroup and system enough to hear what is going on.

Conversely, I’ve noticed that Mohawk Ambulance is much louder than all other units on the fire TG’s. And yes PD dispatch audio is lower than normal it seems.

Yes. It was driving me crazy last night! Obviously, this is a radio system problem and not the fault of our radios or our collective hearing.

This seems to be an on and off problem with the City of Albany's operations on the digital radio system. I have to assume it's a city equipment issue as other major users of the system (Town of Colonie, Albany County, etc.) don't have these volume issues.
