Man Shot by Police Identified

The Lakewood Police Department has identified the suspect in a shooting that occurred shortly after 1:00 PM in their city yesterday.
33-year-old Shawn Patrick Brndiar (correct spelling) (07-24-75) was shot once after being contacted by two Lakewood police agents who had responded to a call of a suspicious male in the area of the Wal-Mart store at 440 Wadsworth Blvd.
When the first agent contacted the 6’ 8” 250 lb Brndiar in the parking lot of the store a physical confrontation took place. The agent attempted to use a Taser in an effort to subdue Brndiar. Brndiar however grabbed the Taser and shocked the agent with it. When Brndiar turned and aimed the Taser at the second agent, that agent fired once striking Brndiar.
The agent who was Tased was transported to a local hospital for treatment and has been released.
Brndiar was also transported to a local hospital for treatment of his wound and will be transferred to the Jefferson County Jail upon his release. He faces potential charges of second degree assault and resisting arrest. In addition there were some outstanding warrants for his arrest.
Note: there is no mug shot of Brndiar until such time he is actually booked into jail.

Must be that nasty Wal-Mart rage going around:lol:
It had nothing to do with wal-mart other then being in the lot. It happened in the far SE corner by the KFC I think it is or whatever fast food restraunt is up there. From what I've heard I don't even think the call came from wal-mart. That's probably just where they contacted him at.
Aside from that, I wanted to listen to the archived audio. Do we not have anyone streaming Lakewood anymore?
