Did LPD (Lansing Police) switch to a four-shift work day instead of the usual three-shift? I am hearing a lot of 4-adam units now since they moved the traffic units to the North Precinct?
Yes they did. They now have officers working 12 hour shifts instead of 10. I believe the 3-series shifts begin at either 0500 or 0530,and the 4-series begin around 0600.
