LPE-200 Programming Issue

I'm trying to program the NJ iTac channels into a LPE-200. After writing to the radio and switching to the conventional system, the radio constantly beeps and displays "SYNTHSZR"

After re-reading the radio, the RX frequency box displays "000.0000".

Any clue as to what is wrong?

Feature set in this radio is 04, 07, 23, 24

Your TX freq is way higher than it should be. The normal offset is 45MHz. TX should be 806.0125 and RX should be 851.0125.

The error you are seeing is the radio complaining that it cant tune to that frequency, because it physically can't. I'm surprised the software even let you program it in like that!

Actually that 821.0125 would be fine...if the receive channel was pre-rebanding. But the OP mixed a pre-rebanded TX frequency and a post-rebanded RX frequency. The radio IS capable of that TX frequency, however it may not be able to handle mixed splits. Or he may have a VCO lock problem regardless.

I looked at the DB. Either it has the wrong (old) input, or the system is using some kind of mixed input to accommodate rebanding. My guess is the DB is wrong, most likely nobody updated the inputs after rebanding.

I changed the Tx frequencies to 45mhz lower than the Rx and the radio works fine. I'm guessing the DB is wrong too.
