I stopped by the LPGA today at Bulle Rock in Havre de Grace, and noticed that most of the LPGA officials had Motorola HT-1000's with a sticker on the front listing about 16 different channels (I got close enough to read the HT-1000 label, but not the channel list).
Judging by the antenna (about 6 inches long) I'd guess it was UHF.

Anyone have any guess what frequencies they might be using?

The law enforcement and EMS/Fire types were using the Harford Co 800 system on the Special Event talkgroup.

The Golf channel, and a blimp (FUJI film maybe) where there too!

No idea of any specific frequencies (I tried looking up LPGA in the FCC DB), but search the usual ranges (460.6500-470.0000, 451.0000-453.0000, 456.0000-458.0000). You should be able to find many frequencies quickly, as it's been my experience that golf tournaments use radio a lot.
