I just put a new and better scanner on the Little Rock Fire Department feed last night. I still have some tweaking to do but it should sound better and be more reliable! It is an AWIN compatible scanner that will help for the upgrade... keep reading...

On a side note, all the departments on the LR trunk system (LRPD LRFD, NLRPD AND FD, MAUMELLE, SHERWOOD, PULASKI COUNTY SHERIFF & MEMS) will be switching to AWIN within the next 18 months. This should make a significant difference in the quality of those feeds. Much less flutter and much better audio (ASP is on AWIN now, compare and you will hear the difference)
