I have found a bug with LRRP 1.2 that is included with Fast Lane version 2p197 in that it doesn't display data on the map for all DMR LRRP broadcasted systems even though they are being updated to the DSDPlus.LRRP data file and also outputted in the DSD+ event log window.

e.g I have a local DMR system that broadcasts complete LRRP data on 445.600 which shows up on the map just fine but another local DMR system which also broadcasts complete LRRP data on 445.625 will not show up on the map.

If I revert back to LRRP 1.17 everything works fine.

You should send raw audio samples of both to dsdplusfastlane@gmail.com

Thanks, Audio with the Baseband or just the Audio?

I'm referring to the raw audio that is generated when you press "R" in DSDPlus.

Please "R" in DSDPlus and you'll see a confirmation that raw audio is being recorded and it will state the filename. Once you have captured enough raw audio (that you know contains LRRP data), press R again to stop the recording . Send it to dsdplusfastlane@gmail.com. Of course, there is a limit on the size of the file you will be able to send. I think Gmail's limit is 25 MB. So try to only record when you are seeing LRRP activity.

You probably do NOT need to send raw audio for the system whose LRRP is properly displaying. Not sure why I suggested that. Just send raw audio for the one that is not properly displaying.

Ok thanks, this will be tricky to capture then with the email limit of 25mb as its just 1 portable device on the system and broadcasts LRRP every 3 minutes but I will do what I can.

I wonder if I could capture anything bigger and then upload it to my cloud storage and provide a link to the sample in the email this would be a better option.

Cheers.

Absolutely -- much better to upload to cloud storage and then send the link to the email address. I simply didn't mention it because it's too much of a hassle for most people.

Ok cool well I managed to capture some LRRP data in less than 25mb of raw audio but I am wondering before I send it to the author of DSD+ should I post a link up here so it can be verified as not working in LRRP 1.2 by the community here first?

Nah. I doubt the author cares what the community thinks :) I think he/she/it only cares what they see themselves when they explore the raw audio.

Probably not but was more of a thought to rule out issues with my setup but yeah I'll just forward it to the author and wait for a response.

Thanks for the guidance :)
