LTR And PSR

Hey, Can Someone explain how to program an LTR system into the PSR 500, I mean I know how to program the sytem, I've done that and I know how to enter the ID's, What i'm needing to know is how do I enter just ONE ID and monitor it without having to monitor the other 100... Just enter the one ID and don't enter a wildcard, Right? Can someone confirm this?

just a guess her, Have it in ID scan mode & just include the 1 ID you want to hear?

if you don't enter a widcard then it will only scan the talk groups that you enter into the TGID List

That one ID must be the only ID in the scanlist also.

So those 5 frequencies, That TGID, and that entire LTR system need to be in their own scanlist? Right?

The frequencies go into a TSYS. The scanlist holds the group ID (which references the TSYS).

I think I've got it set up right. I've got all of my local analog frequencies set up in scanlist 4, I made a tsys and put in the frequencies and the added the talkgroup I wanted to monitor only.. I set it also to scanlist 4, Should it be set on another scanlist?

No with the 500 there is no ID Scan or Search modes like the 96 and 97. For the "search" mode you enter a wildcard talkgroup in the 500. If you just want it to scan the TGIDs you have programed you just don't add a wildcard.

You could always just pause on that one TG and hold it there, too.
