Is LTR in wide use in Michigan? If so, what type of services are using it?

Thanks!

There are many ambulance companies that operate on LTR systems. Star EMS is one of them in Macomb County, along with many AAA roadside emergency and towing companies, school buses, and anyone else that wants to use a radio system with higher than normal capacity.

Thanks everyone!

I just picked up a Radio Shack (Uniden) PRO-2051, to play with, while my PRO-2096 scans the mainstream. The PRO-2051 has LTR capibility, and I've never monitored an LTR system before. Now I have something to work with.

Hi, Bill.
A friend of mine works for Ford Motor, and their system is of the LTR variety. Not sure if there would be much of interest to listen to, but I know that the system down in my neck of the woods covers multiple plants.
