any one know what type of Encryption/Digital Format's that LTR Multinet has or is capable of transmitting for voice privacy ??

To anyone looking to acquire commercial radio programming software:
Please do not make requests for copies of radio programming software which is sold (or was sold) by the manufacturer for any monetary value. All requests will be deleted and a forum infraction issued. To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.
The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.
For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

Check Transcrypt's website for their marketing details. Any pass-through encryption (radio to radio with no processing enroute) should work.

K, i only ask because the County sheriffs office here has a back freq for 10-1 signal or sensitive pri 1 info, and when there is a transmission on this freq it is in some sort of digital format and i was wondering if there is anyway to figure out what exact type is in use as far as encryption or digital and if there was a way around thier privacy for this freq ~!~

It's probably a conventional channel if these transmissions always appear on the same frequency.

Yes thier frequency's are conventional and all of them are analog , but 2 Base/Mobile Freqs Broadcast with Digital over the analog , i appreciate the TransCrypt addy , helped alot , i think they are using VoSEC Digital Encryption on the particular frequency, and from what TransCrypt claims is that even the most determined wont Leak a transmission useing such protocol. so i guess its kinda screwed permanetly, thanx for the help though
