My question is over the weekend i was trying to input some LTR standard on my BC898t. tried putting in essex county fire and for sakes the rencen over in detroit. Thing is which i am not sure if i am doing this right, but here goes my best for explaining it, when entering in from the database, you have to input the numbers in order correct? but what i don't understand is say thier is a table of 5, number 1 has freq, numer 2 is blank, number 3 has freq and so forth, when i enter in say thier are only 3 freq's i just input those 3 in order, or do i go say number has a freq put that in, number 2 is blank so do i put 000.0000? number 3 freq and so on, or do i just put the 3 freq in? to fast forward a bit here, i go to scan and it just stops on the number 1 freq, goes no further, can't scan other channels, nothing, which i found odd? I know i am doing something wrong somewhere, but can't figure it out, i tried looking on the wiki, but it doesn't really help me that much, looked at the manual as in how to program a LTR system. Only thing i did not do , not sure if it is necassary, but put in the "talkgroups" I just put in the freq? Any help would be muchly appreciated and thanks for those that do :)

also forgot to mention above is even if i am in trunk mode or conventional it still stops on the first freq i put in, won't scan any further, sometimes i hear a pause which i know is the data stream.

County fire is LTR passport

No scanner can trunk track the system

Scan the frequencies conventionally

ahh yes ok thanks chris, but what about the rencen ltr standard?

Never tried to listen to that one. If it is LTR standard your scanner should follow it. Make the the channels are in the right order.
