This is going to sound like a stupid question, can LTR systems display Unit IDs on a scanner? I've never listened to one before, since I don't have them in my area.

Yes I hear a LTR school bus company and one ID is 0-18-101
do they all actually display as x-xx-xxx? I thought they would conform to MDC1200 IDs 1-65535 or fleetsync, depending on the radios in use
That's the area-home channel-group, not unit ID's...unless each subscriber has it's own "group"". Which does happen, but it eats up groups quickly.
