Since I have been layed off from work as of Friday I have been working on mapping out a bunch of LTRs using LTR Analyzer. I have a bunch mapped out and noticed that a few of them are only using a few of the frequencies that are listed on RR. But there is one Megahertz Technology in Dallas that been reporting 3 additional channels, LCN 3, 8 & 15. LCN 9 on that system doesn't seem to be used anymore making this a 19 channel system. I have looked high and low trying to see if I can find the frequencies that go with these LCNs but no avail. If anyone finds them let me know. I will be posting my findings with all the other systems up on my web page tonight.

Thanks Max I will take a look up there! I am hopign that something comes around sooner rather then later but right now I am not sure if it's going to be sooner.

So everyone, the LTR I posted a couple days ago 483.3625 LCN 7, 484.0125 LCN 16 has been confirmed now as FleetTalk (Cedar Hill). Also the Megahertz Technology (Dallas) LTR system has been completed with all the missing LCN's been filled in. I am planning on going mobile sometime in the next day or so and check out a bunch of places that I want to verify the LTRs for, Great Wolf Lodge and the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, UT Southwestern, Parkland and Childrens on Harry Hines in Dallas, Medical City on Forest in Dallas, Northpark Center and the Galleria Mall in Dallas.

All these of my trunked stuff, frequency scans, dx logs can be found on my web page at Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex Scanning

LTR's confirmed

I have continued with my onslot of LTR mapping out. 3 more systems have been fully mapped out and 1 I am going back down to check to see if I can find the remaining missing frequency.

Verified today,
Comtex Communications (Justin)
Nortel Networks (Richardson)
NorthPark Center (Dallas)

I am missing 1 LCN for Medical City Dallas right I might now what it is and probably going to go check it out tonight and hopefully its the right one. The Galleria Dallas I have two LCNs for the system now, LCN 1 and 17 but I am still missing LCN 7 & 19. I checked all of the Galleria Mall Investors/Hines Galleria North licenses listed on the FCC web page but can't find those two missing LCN's.

If anyone knows that they are let me know!

Missing LCNs

I am still missing a few LCN's for a couple of systems before they are complete.

2 LCNs for Netwave (Rhome), LCN 10 & LCN 20 which are not listed on RR
1 LCN for Teletouch (Fort Forth), LCN 2, RR lists this as 454.0250 but I hear no activity at all on it
1 LCN for Self Radio (Decatur), LCN 7 which are also not listed on RR

If anyone has any idea what they are let me know.

I believe the license for Teletouch (Fort Worth) is WPPF997.

There are 8 frequencies that are listed for that license.

They are:
461.5750
461.9500
462.1750
463.3750
463.5500
463.7750
464.2250
464.6250

I would try those. As I too was laid off a week ago Friday I will see what I can dig up on these when I get a chance. Unfortunately I don't have a scanner with a discriminator tap so it will be a bit tougher.

I might just have to put those all in it's seperate systems and assign them each as LCN 2 and see if I kind figure which one belongs to that system.

I forgot to post that some of these are already used for that system so hopefully one of the remaining three is the missing channel.

461.5750 LCN 1
461.9500
462.1750 LCN 9
463.3750 LCN 19
463.5500
463.7750 LCN 5
464.2250
464.6250 LCN 7

Matt

Edit, I was just looking at my notes and didn't noticed I already had found LCN 14 for the Netwave (Rhome) system. So all I need now for that one is LCN 10 which I have a frequency just have to wait to there is traffic on it. Doh just noticed for this one I am also missing LCN 20. Back to the drawing board for me.

I think that so far on this we also know LCN 15. So just the two unlabelled frequencies need to be classified possibly.

461.5750 LCN 1
461.9500 LCN 15
462.1750 LCN 9
463.3750 LCN 19
463.5500
463.7750 LCN 5
464.2250
464.6250 LCN 7

464.2250
464.6250 LCN 7

When I ran LTR analyzer there was no LCN 15 listed at all and I ran it for quite a while to make sure that I got all of the free channels. So I think we can say that frequency is no longer part of the system of could be another LCN.

Sounds good, I am running logging software on my 396 to try and see what shows up. I think tomorrow it will be a lot busier. Just the 0-05-181 channel today with lots of traffic.

I hope its not one of those that is going to be so elusive that it's going to take forever to find. LOL.

I think that 464.2250 is on a different system since a TG 1-17-063 is coming up on it.

I haven't heard any idle bursts on any of those or the 454.0250 which is listed as LCN 2 on RR. So I am not sure here this channel is unless its not using the idle bursts. I have seen too multiple systems on a single frequency. eg Area 0 and 1 with different LCNs and also Area 0 and 0 with different LCNs.

The multiple system behavior is what I am logging on 454.0250. It seems that frequency is an LCN 02, just on a different system.

Do you think just parking down by the transmitter and using close-call might work to get some of the more elusive frequencies?

I believe there is an LCN 02, I just can't find the frequency for it.

Here is a CSV of what I have logged so far today.

I will have to take a look at that log and compare the unknowns to what I have. I have a bunch of systems that are still missing channels so maybe one of those are the missing channels.
