Was in Bloomington this weekend and was finally able to trunktrack the METCOM 800Mz LTR Multinet system. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE TALKGROUPS LISTED DO NOT (I REPEAT DO NOT) CORRESPOND WITH ANY TALKGROUPS THAT CAN BE PROGRAMMED IN ANY CURRENTLY AVAILABLE TRUNKING SCANNER!!!
The software being used is LTRUNK.exe - available on www.radioreference.com. This software allows decoding of LTR, LTR Passport, and LTR Multinet protocols. It takes two scanners (one data, and one to control), but it was successful. Anybody remember the good old days of TRUNKER before the BC235XLT?
Anyway, here's some details:
Confirmed usage of the following frequencies:
856.7625 - unsquelches when another frequency is active
857.7625 - voice
858.2375 - voice
858.7625 - voice
859.7625 - voice
860.7625 - data channel
Interesting fact is that both 856.7625 and 860.7625 carry voice traffic as well.
The following frequencies did not show up as active:
858.9375
859.2375
859.9375
860.2375
860.9375
LTRUNK identified the following talkgroups:
0-01-026 BFD Dispatch
0-01-031 BFD Fireground
0-01-081 NFD Car/Car
0-01-090 NFD Dispatch
