wow, a 100 ger just to bid? Geez guess they don't want any BS eh? Is this a common practice?

In Lucas County they usually require a bid bond in the amount up to 5% of the total bid. Bonds are returned to unsucessfull bidders with 30 days after the decision and the lucky winner receives their bond back after receipt of the goods--or most likely system acceptance in this case.
