Anyone know what unit 793 is? He went out of service at 8:58 p.m.

It's just going to be a guess right now, X, but I'd say the Sargent (7) with Waterville Twp (93 to 95 units).
If it's 'real' important, I'll check with my 'CI' (confidential informamant) on a local PD to find out.

Maybe, but I know in Washington Twp, 89X is the seargent. Lucas County Sheriff 7+ letters are. Who knows... lol it's not that big of a deal I just hear almost everyday.

o, have you ever heard traffic on 154.755? it's listen as tac but I've never heard anything on it. Sheriff always uses LEERN.

Tophtoh - 154.755 is indeed a good freq. Not often used, it is for 'special' operations. 8) (I didn't think this freq was 'published' anywhere!)
And yes, the SO units use LEERN (Law Enforcement Emergency Radio Network) for some 'car-to-car' talk. This is because the license for the main freq (460.475) is for car-to-dispatch/dispatch-to-car only. "Special Requests" thru dispatch are required unit-to-unit (that's why you'll hear "7-David, car to car with 301"). During accidents or other 'incidents', they'll be on LEERN.
Also, during 'incidents', using LEERN allows other 'assisting' departments (OSP for one) to know what's going on in a given area and gives 2-way communications between departments.

For the most part, the freqs in the VHF range (in this case, 154MHz) don't use repeaters.
As far as a 'PL' for 'direct' for LCSD, try tuning in 465.475. That is the freq that is sent to the repeaters from the units/portables. 465.475 hits the repeater and is 're-broadcast' on 460.475.
For mobile/portables for just about anything in the 400+MHz range, the mobile/portables are always 5.000MHz higher. This will hold true with the EMS units also.

Direct is when it does not go into the repeater. They don't use it very often. It's low power. Since you live in Springfield Twp. what all do you have in your scanner? And what are you using?

I wasn't aware they were able to 'defeat' the repeater. They do have a 'special' freq they sometimes use - not often - for car-to-car.
I use a Uniden BC250D with an external antenna tuned for the 400MHz band (but still get excellent reception in 800MHz & OSP's 42-44MHz) As far as my freqs, while at home, I normally monitor FD & PD for Lucas Co, Holland, Spencer Twp & Sylvania Twp, along with some Military air freqs, air emer freqs, and one or 2 'sensitive' freqs (given to me under the threat of death if I divulged them). Be happy to send you the freqs I've got (minus the 'sensitives), but all can be found in the RadioReference areas.
When on the road, I've got different banks set up for different 'areas' of the state(s), but no external antenna on the car, due to scanner laws in different states (such as Michigan)

Those are the most fun to monitor... you don't need to give them but you could describe them, if it's the post you're worried about I sent you a private message with my e-mail address. I have all public safety in Lucas County; I also have Wood County and monitor them from time to time.
