If we are lucky it should fly right over. I saw it once with a contrail and it was stunning. They go around us both east and west most of the time. Got binoculars? FlightAware

About an hour out. Just a FL380 fly over not a landing. I use Celestron SkyMaster Giant 15x70's. :p

What's so special about it?
Claimed to be the world's largest passenger airliner. It has a double-deck fuselage in which the upper deck runs the entire length. It has 49% more floor space than a Boeing 747-200 and can carry over 800 passengers depending on the cabin configuration.

The flight in question was a Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt, Germany, to Houston. For whatever reason, this one happened to go over Indianapolis en route.

I caught this shot of a Quantas A380 flying direct from Sydney Australia to Dallas Fort Worth International airport - flying directly over San Antonio, TX. What is unique about this flight is it is supposed to be the longest duration direct flight in the world.
