Most of the talk group id's listed in Sentinel are no longer valid. Service type in the software or the radio?

You need to make sure you enable the Service Type on the SDS200 for the talkgroups you want to listen to. Each talkgroup is tagged with a "Service Type" that allows you to enable / disable specific services such as Fire, EMS, and Police. The Appendix has a list of Service Types and their general descriptions.

By default only EMS Dispatch, Fire Dispatch, Law Dispatch, Custom 1, and Multi-Dispatch are enabled. The talkgroups for Luke AFB include Military, Law Dispatch, Law Tac, Fire-Tac. You will want to make sure all of these are enabled.

On the SDS200:
Press Func then the Zip/Services button.
Scroll to each Service Type and press E/yes to enable or disable.
Press System or Avoid to exit.

The service types can also be set in the Sentinel profile editor and written to the scanner.
