Just heard HR44 get dispatched to the Suncoast on Southwest Dispatch. Where is the boundary for Southwest and Northwest Dispatch? I figured HR44 would be dispatched on Northwest regardless of the incident location.

Station 44 is is Battalion 10. The Suncoast is in Batt 10. When we respond outside our home Battalion we switch to the channel for the Battalion we are responding into. Of coarse, if its a multi unit response we will be assigned a Tac channel. I think the border between the Battalions is Lake Mead.
No wonder why I never hear calls for my neighborhood. Thank you.
