I'm a new user on Lwin bcd996xt in Rapides parrish (Near Alexandria).
Under "sites" in Lwin RR Rapides i see
Trailer 100
Trailer 96
Trailer 97
Trailer 98
Trailer 99
Anyone have any idea what & where these sites are located?
Mobile units?
I'm setup on Troop E just wondering about the above.

EDIT.. Will look into exact details... If Kevin is around he knows pretty much evrything about LWIN.. Am still waking up and trying to convince brain that its Friday, not Monday again..

OK as far as I can find, these are indeed Mobile Sites On Wheels. Towed trailer repeaters used to extend coverage or provide coverage during special events/emergencies.

Yes, these are fully equipped trailers placed strategically througout the state... NOLA, BR, Monroe, etc...These pretty much are what you would love to have for yourself... Full backhaul via sat, full interop on all bands... They are connected to LWIN via the sat, so there is a very slight delay.

Very nice, and have already been put into service... I think especially in Hackberry at one point, if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the replys guys, i kinda figured they were mobile units.
I have them programmed in now so if one becomes active in my
area i should get some activity off it. I'm having lotta fun with this
new digital 996xt and i'm running ID Tracker which has scanner control
running on my 22" monitor, no problem seeing whats happening lol.
