I know the Lake Charles site is still down. It is about 8 blocks or so from the T.V. tower that collapsed in downtown L.C. Notice the freqs have been changed on 197. The N. Lake Charles site is up as of saturday and is handling most of the downtown area OK.

I know. Just posting what I have found in the area. Was helping some friends put tarps on their roofs or what was left of them. Lots of destruction. Basically from Jennings, more or less, on into Texas major destruction. A big problem is no water pressure. Property owners are being asked to shut off water valves at street so that pressure can build back up. If there was a fire it would be serious.

There's 2 groups of us heading out there this weekend to cook and bring supplies for some First Responders and possibly a mobile Amateur Radio repeater trailer.

Well Bless you guys. Be careful. Add extra time to get there. Traffic was very heavy going over and leaving as all the power guys and tree cutters were heading west in the morning and back east in the evening. Took us about 3 hours to get from Rayne to L.C.
