I went through the data base looking for that ID and, the closest number I found was 17557 and that ID was assigned BRPD .
17557 is one of five of West Baton Rouge Parish Mutual Calling TG's (Not for BRPD as listed in the Data Base)
Encryption
Thank you The Special Man at least i don't have to worry about buying a new type scanner. If they go back to non encryption I would hate to be the guy that presses back all the numbers! How do you find out my software does not show the (E) the date they went encryption Spec 605LA..can you send me the rr guide how i find out the big E word?
It's in the RR database, in the "Mode" section if it shows a DE it's encrypted. Most of the Calcasieu Parish TG's are only showing just a D meaning unencrypted. But the RR database is only as good as the correct information that is submitted by members.

Well sorry Spec Man I found database but could not find the Mode Section....if you could cut and paste it showing the DE's tag i would appreciate it. Great to have guys like you on here...i still have one of those old bearcat crystal scanners, I have homepatrol 1 and 2 and 536 and when they went dark on all scanners i knew i was in trouble. What really encrypted me was the cancel of Live PD the number one show on cable! Thank you buddy if you could copy those DE tags i would appreciate it!
