Can seem to figure out what MI means when an officer clears a call.
Anyone have meanings on CMPD's alphabetical codes?
Thanks

That's right Nick. It is Miscellaneous Incident or Miscellaneous Information. It is just one of the many codes they use to clear events (calls). After the officer types in MI or use a pull-down menu to do it, they type in a short narrative about the call. They may say that they spoke to the complaintant or some other short wordage. It is a common clearing code when a full blown report is not necessary. Another common one is AU for Assisted Unit, or I assisted another unit. The other unit types in a report or MI and any other assisting cars types in AU.
