For the rest of us (AKA Mac users) I tried to install some of the more popular radio programming software.

Using my wife's new M1 Mac Mini I downloaded and installed Parallels and the ARM version of Windows.

I then downloaded and installed ProScan, ARC-XT Pro and ARC-536 Pro. Each of these seem to work flawlessly with an SDS100, BCD436HP and a BCD325P2.

I was unable to get Sentinel working since there does not seem to be a version of dotnet Framework for ARM processors. (Please see this in the Uniden Tech forum for more: Sentinel on ARM Processors)

I would presume that, as long as the software does not require dotnet, most radio programming software should work on an ARM processor as long as it works in x86 versions of Windows 10.
