Hi Everyone I'm new to the forum, I have a BC785D and want to know if I can pick up state police in my area?

Sorry to say there is no Scanner on the Market that will Pick Up State Police on the State Opensky Digital System . So Your BC785D Will Not Work . Sorry .

The state police in Indiana co. should still be on vhf high band. I'm in Somerset co. not too far from you, and we are still on high band.

If they have not already changed over its coming real soon - they went into a cooperative venture with
the county and built a very nice new tower on Kinter Hill, and have some other sites of course also.
