MABAS phone bridge?

It seems that nearly every time I hear a Dane County (division 115) unit paged out for a MABAS request, shortly after I hear a page go out on the Dane County paging frequency saying something along the lines of MABAS has been activated; board members please call into the phone bridge.

Anyone know what this is about?

Sounds like an adminstration thing. Never heard anything like that anywhere else. Definatley not directly fire related. Maybe board members listen in for some reason or another.
