MAC-1 activity?

Anyone familiar with the activities on MAC-1 this morning? Sounds like multiple fire depts being coordinated and set up at posts across the city. Never heard anything like this before.
Units from SMFD, Northglenn, Pridemark, and others. I assume it has something to do with MLK day? However, the posts they are reporting are nowhere near the Marade route, well most of them anyway.

MAC-1 Activity

Possibly preparation for DGH Paramedic James Sullivan's funeral. The service is 1100 today, and many agencies are covering for DGH so their personnel can attend the service.

Could be the funeral procession for Jim Sullivan??

He is a denver medic that passed away last week.

I've been following this-

It is a CSP 9B dispatcher, dispatching units from all over the metro area to accidents mostly. Maybe because there are so many accidents with the icy roads, they decided to try this approach.

And with what Curt said, they might be short on personnel
