I was given an old vertex standard radio that we couldn't get programmed because of needing PC and possibly different cables. After a month or so of trying to find something to work I just bought a new radio and cable. I've bought an IC-2300H and the Icom branded cable so that I would be able to program through Chrip on my Mac. Everything showed up today and I still am no further ahead. The cable is only supported by windows (WHHHYYYYY?!?!? )

It's an OPC-478UC cable. Does anyone how I can program the IC-2300H from my Mac???
