Hi,

Anybody out there there using Virtual PC on system 10.3 with Starr's software?

I want to know they are compatible before buying Virtual PC.

Thanks for any info.

Virtual PC is good software. If you can find a Mac to PC serial adapter, it should work. I'm just guessing, but there's no reason it shouldn't.

At this time, due to the copyright protection used on Win96 (per Don himself), it doesn't work, at least the last few times me and others have tried it.

In the very early versions of Win96, I could get it to work with Virtual PC 6 and IOGear USB adapter. I wonder if it might work with VPC 7 or whatever the newest version is....

I want to use win 95 and win 93 with virtual PC. Have you ever used those on a MAC with virtual PC. I am not concerned with uploading/downloading.

I just want to edit files.

Ahhhh, those are free and without copy protection (I think).

Theoretically then, it should work BUT I haven't tried it myself.

I just upgraded my Powerbook to 10.4 Tiger, so I don't even know if my VPC6 will work. I'll try to test it in the near future and see if it works....
