So.... any news if FreeScan will ever be available for Mac users?

I have a MacBook Pro and a Uniden 396XT. I have to keep an old windows desktop alive just to program this scanner.

It makes it impossible to program while on the road.

Didn't you read anything about Bearscan on the FreeScan site? When that comes out, shouldn't it solve your issues?

There is also TCL/TK based software - unfortunately the author is no longer answering questions or supporting it, so if you use it, you're on your own. The last released version is in a zip file found here...
