I could use some good suggestion's on what tower #'s & ID's to listen to while on vacation in Mackinaw City.
I am thankful for any help i can get.

I was just in Cheboygan a few weeks ago. The St. Ignace tower comes in just fine from Mackinac.

Mackinac County is on MPSCS. The DNR & State Police talkgroups for that district are also widely used. I would also program in the state park talkgroups, they are under DNR if I remember right.

Who patrols in Mackinac City ? Is it MSP Or County ? I dont see any talk groups listed for Cheboygan County. I'll be sure to put St. Ignace in my scanner but are there any others i need to put in to pick up Macinac City.

MPSCS membership map, as well as the RR database suggest that CCE Dispatch (Cheboygan-Charlevoix-Emmet) is not fully utilizing MPSCS. In fact, CCE appears to be totally stand alone VHF. Check out the standard database.

Cheboygan County Central Dispatch is simulcasted onto MPSCS. You will hear them both there and on VHF.
