Thank you all for the replies. I know a couple of them were probably obvious. I too am on the fringe area for that portion of the county. I have on occasion picked up Shelby Twp Fire on the Mt. Clemens freqs.

If you are on the fringe for the Mt. Clemens Tower, then you might like it when they go to a country wide system. I hear that one of the towers will be around 9 Mile. Also, check the new additions to the Macomb part of the MSP system.

The new system calls for eight towers to be built as part of a simulcast systems, which means if you are close to one transmitter sites, you will hear everything off all the towers at the same time in Macomb County. Likewise, the same technology will be used for the neighboring Detroit City system, which is nearing completion, and the future St. Clair County TRS.

I've heard Chesterfield PD and FD both on the MSP System. Mostly trying there new radios. One conversation said that they will get their new consol at the end of this month and training next month.

I'll be interested in hearing St. Clair Shores & East Pointe as they border the Eastern Wayne County system. Thanks for the updates.
