Does anyone know what frequency Macon County (Tuskegee) EMS is dispatched on? So far, I've monitored the country fire dispatch frequency - 453.100 - but haven't heard EMS DISPATCH.

I've never heard an "EMS" being dispatched, but I do hear the VFDs being dispatched on 453.100 to crashes on I-85 and other medical related items. The same dispatcher will eventually tell the VFD that the ambulance is enroute.

I do monitor TFD but haven’t heard an EMS dispatch. I do know that Haynes recently was awarded the EMS contract for Macon County. Do you know their frequency?

According to fcc.gov, WQJP809 was a trunked system that expired 11/19/2018. 151.97 was one of the frequencies in that system. It was licensed for NFM, MOTOTRBO, and NXDN. I cannot locate 151.97 on any active license.
I do monitor TFD but haven’t heard an EMS dispatch. I do know that Haynes recently was awarded the EMS contract for Macon County. Do you know their frequency?
You can also check to see if you hear anything on 151.97. If you do, it will just be noise unless your scanner can receive NXDN.

I do hear Haynes Life Flight helicopters on 155.295 talking to their dispatch in Montgomery. You might give that frequency a try. The frequency is listed in the RR DB as "Rescue Squad", but Haynes LF is the only group I've heard on it.

Thanks everyone! If I can confirm anything, I'll post it here. I see their transport units quite often coming to East Alabama Medical Center here in Auburn-Opelika.

qslmark do you happen to know the tone to 155.295 for Montgomery Rescue Squad. I am getting a lot of hits for that freq. with a tone of 114.8 for a Ambulance or EMS units.

I'm a former Notasulga (Macon County) Firemedic Notasulga EMS is dispatched on 158.835 Haynes has had the ambulance contract with Macon County for going on two years now, the ambulance could be coming from Elmore County if the Tuskegee truck is on a run, sometimes a Montgomery truck responds if it is on the far western side of the county or a wreck near the Montgomery County Line. The UHF freq is VFD paging only with the exception of Notasulga. I have a Kenwood NXDN radio I can play around with, our neighboring FD went MOTOTRBO and the Kenwood given to me is supposed to do DMR also.

Appreciate the information. Keep me posted on any frequencies you uncover. We need to get out local scanner folks together for lunch once this pandemic dies down. Something tells me we would enjoy getting together periodically.
