Macon County

As a frequent visitor to Macon County (Franklin), I enjoy monitoring the many law enforcement, fire and ems frequencies in the county. It sounds to me, because of the mountains, that both Macon County Sheriff and Macon County Fire have their DISPATCH channels equipped with different PL tones for the different repeaters they use to reach throughout the county. In both cases, the DISPATCH frequency remains the same. Does anyone know what the different PL tones might be?

My records show repeaters on Cowee Bald, Satulah Mountain, and Scaly Mountain, but no distinct PL tones. Could be they are using automatic voting which does the steering to the best repeater.
Suggest monitoring traffic and listening for messages such as "switch to Channel x," "calling x on Satulah," etc. This would indicate different encode tones.
