Elwood now has a working house fire at 1713 S. D St. on top of the factory fire at the old State Plating plant. Elwood is going to be busy tonight!

Looks like they are asking for assistance from Jackson Township and White River Township Fire Departments. The factory fire is at State Plating and at the same time there is a residence fire with entrapment on the other side of Elwood.
Lapel FD is assisting Elwood, and Wayne Township is filling in for Lapel.
There is a patch on Hamilton County Fire HFG 6 (04--027).

Water supply is very low in Elwood. They are bringing in water from Tipton and other areas with tankers. This is a old factory building that is no longer used. Posted Fri 9:00PM 11/30/12

They must have determined it's an arson, because they are offering a reward to anyone that can provide information about this fire leading to an arrest and conviction of the arsonist.

they arrested like 3 kids for it last i heard. 1 of the kids was the mayors son
