Madison's trunked system uses I-Call/Private-Call quite a bit for telephone interconnects and one-on-one comms outside the normal channels.

Does anyone have a current layout of the radio numbers in this system by user group, i.e., PD uses 700000 through 700999, Fire uses 701000 through 701999, etc.? (Just examples here). It would be nice to have such groupings, but I doubt it due to attrition and swaps in hardware ...
If, however, one were lucky enough to have grouped IDs, then it would really be nice to be able to use masking in talk groups to receive transmissions from only those radio IDs (sort'a like masks in IP addresses--perhaps more like wild card substitution). Using the above examples, a mask such as 700??? would receive only PD I-Call/Priva-Call traffic, or 701??? would receive only FD traffic.
Has anyone experimented with that? What scanners does it work with, if so? Probably just dreaming, but sure would be nice.
