Looking thru the federal frequencies in the database I found this:

MAFFS

US Military MAFFS (Modular Aerial Fire Fighting System), US Air Force Reserve & Army National Guard Air Tankers called up during extreme fire danger by NIFC. These are strictly used for firefighting teams from US Military.

Frequency License Type Tone Alpha Tag Description Mode Tag
7.22500 MAFFS-LVHF MAFFS AM Fire-Tac
147.18000 MAFFS - A MAFFS FM Fire-Tac
147.45000 MAFFS - B MAFFS FM Fire-Tac
448.45000 MAFFS - C MAFFS FM Fire-Tac

~~~~~~
Really? Those are all in amateur bands. Why would they be there???
I noticed those several years ago. They are on this page: U.S. Government Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference
There are also some amateur frequencies here: Military & State Defense Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference
Maybe it was a joke that the admins didn't catch.
The database is only as good/bad as the data/crap that is submitted.
I find it hard to believe that the militay uses amateur frequencies for something like that, especially commonly used repeater inputs and outputs.
Maffs
I can't imagine that they would use amateur radio frequencies!
I remember in my day with the 302nd AW at Peterson, one of the MAFFS freqs was 376.025.
The Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard are the MAFFS units.
AF Reserve is the 302nd Airlift Wing from Peterson AFB, CO.
The other 3 units are Air National Guard.
Cheyenne, Wyoming
Charlotte, North Carolina
Channel Islands, California
The Colorado, Wyoming and North Carolina units flying the C-130H-3 and
California unit flying the C-130J.
I'll see if I can find some info on frequencies, MAFFS training for the units is usually around the first of May, but with the dry conditions in the West that may start earlier.
