I must say living durectly under the runway 6 glideslope, I didn't notice an uptick in air traffic.

I heard it was a complete disaster trying to get into the air show due to over zealous security. My friends that went left before getting in after waiting over a hour in line with many folks still ahead of them.

Leaving is no better with everyone trying to get out at the same time. I skipped it this time just for these reasons. You're better off finding a nearby parking lot and watching from there. You can have radios galore and leave when you want.
