hi and thanks for reading
I pulled out of a box (for a new situation) my
maha-c888 as pictured. Unfortunately no power cord.
It has a DC option on the other side but it will only charge
up to 9.6 volts. Not good if you have 12 volt batteries
to charge.
in the other pic is the (illegitimate child) AC connector.
male ends stick out (DOH!) and there is a flat barrier on the
underside to prevent from farting around?
anyway I need a AC power cord.
anyone know anything about it, sales, got one lying around the shack? LoL

I'm confused. You say you need an AC cord, but it looks like it just plugs into a wall outlet for it's AC input.

situation resolved!
I broke off the piece of plastic that kept me from using a regular
AC plug. works just fine now.
thanks for all the help!

Zoomed in to your pic. Now I saw the piece of plastic. Looks like it was to "keep" you from plugging into a wall outlet. The removal looks like the obvious move. Glad you got it going.

Still think the extension cord was a better idea. Plugging directly into a socket seems like it could fall out. Plus it sticks way out from the wall.
