I tought we need to keep each other informed about major events going on in TN and in the border countes in KY VA AL MS NC AR and GA

aslo skip and ducting events sould be posted here for now unless we have a sticky for that

anyone up for this ? Maryland and AZ have their own so why can't we ?

I am not sure I would categorize these as major events. When you get a digital scanner and are able to monitor Nashville's system you will quickly notice the frequency of stabbings, shootings, robberies, home invasions, and serious MVAs. They are, unfortunately, common calls each and every night.

This I would consider a major event, but It would probably be more beneficial to have its own thread. Another good thread would be the upcoming disaster drill in Nashville, scheduled for sometime around August/September.

Amen BG I don't think these SMALL events classify as Big Events in TN. I thought that the folks were trying out for news reporting. As BG said in Nashville homicide calls are unfortunately routine. The NHC fire a couple years ago was a big event. I think that was what this thread was for but who am I. Thats my 2 cents. Carry on.

i wasn't at the scanner at the time but their was a MVA with two teens DOA in lavergne around 5:30 this affhernooon one teen is chaging to life as a 2001 Hendersonville high grad who knows these things alll tooo welll my heart goes out to LHS and its kids
