Major Power Outage Affected Price on Sunday After lightning Hit a Power pole on 200 South and 100 East in Price just after 4pm, this Line Apparently was a 46,000 volt line. It came in contact with a 12,000 or so Volt line that controls the Railroad signals and crossings which knocked that out. Power was out til 9pm. The length of this outage also cause cell phones to quit working between 6:30 and 7pm. Also around this time Landline phones were also not funtioning do to a Generator Failure At Emery Telcom Phone Company. Most Phone service was back up by 12:30 am Monday morning just before a second outage at 12:50am that lasted about 5 minutes.
