Major train derailment in Kent, Ohio

A westbound CSX train derailed approx. 20 carloads of coal at M.P. 116 on the New Castle Sub in Kent, Ohio. The cars were piled up along both tracks and coal was dunped into the Cuyahoga River. The Crain Ave. bridge in Kent was also struck and was closed down by safety forces.

No injuries in train derailment

According to the Kent-Ravenna " Record Courier " newspaper, no injuries were reported in the derailment.
