UPDATE: The man died later in the hospital.
LEHI - A worker at a construction site in Lehi fell 40 feet and landed on concrete.
Lehi police say the 26-year-old man was working on a new building and was placing I-beams when he lost his balance.
He fell 40 feet and struck two steel I-beams before landing on a concrete slab.
He was airlifted to the University of Utah Hospital with extreme head injuries. The worker was an employee of the Steel Deck Erectors.
UPDATE: The man died later in the hospital.
